Acquire the skills and knowledge necessary for independent sewing.

Learn how to read and follow pattern instructions and layouts to cut out and sew a pillow or pillow case from start to finish. Machine Sewing fundamentals recommended or students must know how to thread a sewing machine, wind a bobbin, and how to sew a
straight 5/8 “ seam.

Machine and Sewing tools supplied for class.

Cybersafe Classes (Ages 5-7)

This safety class is designed for the early years. The
fastest growing segment of internet users is between 5 and 7. It is critical
that we teach them Cyberethics, Cybersafety and Cybersecurity.

Highland Dancing

Interested in learning the Highland Fling? Adult beginner class is
meeting at Heather Park gym every Monday night from 7:40-8:30pm. Come and learn
the dance in an informal setting from other adult dancers. No experience
necessary but soft soled dance shoes are highly recommended. All abilities welcome.

Experienced Highland dancers who want to meet and dance are
welcome to join from 8:30- 9:15. With this informal setting we will review and
perform a variety of dances every week. All levels of experience are welcome.

When:   Mondays
